As Aluminos ramps up its business model under Soares ownership, expect to see many innovative moves in the manufacturing field of kart specific aftermarket products. In that spirit, and in an effort to gain additional traction in the business, Aluminos is announcing a dealer incentive program-- as well as an online B2B presence for its customer accounts (see aluminos.com for details). Innovation is old hat for Aluminos owner Soares, who, as the previous owner of GP Kart importer KLS Racing, took the GP chassis to national prominence through a combination of marketing savvy and the formation of a national race team that showcased the performance of GP’s product in a variety of race programs.
“I expect to do the same with Aluminos,” says Soares of his latest endeavor. Producing the highest quality aluminum kart parts is something that I decided I would like to do post- KLS Racing. It will enable me to remain at the kart track- not only as a businessperson in the sport, but as a driver as well.” And, as an ultimate commitment to quality, says Soares, “It’s a refreshing change to be able to climb back in the kart and actually race- testing the parts I manufacture, and will ultimately put my name behind.”
Additional Soares moves are to continue to surround himself with kart industry experts, who will be instrumental in product development, while continuing his tradition of branding his business via the best drivers racing has to offer. “Outfitting the best kart racers with the highest quality components will help build the Aluminos brand” says Soares, “I think I’ve already worked with more than a few - and one can expect me to further my commitment with the best drivers from around the world the sport has to offer.”
Aluminos also distributes the Mirage Motorsports created RC20 cooling additive.
